People here in Thailand live within their means, because they have never known any other way. The market controls prices, competition is everywhere, and haggling is a way of life. My grocery bill last month was about 2500 baht, which is about $80. And I’m eating good healthy stuff everyday. Makes me heartsick to see what’s happening to my homeland.
